Cap d’Agde naturist resort, over the last twenty to thirty years, has gone from being pretty much a pure naturist resort to now being a resort that caters to all interests.

The resort, in other words, now caters to naturists, swingers, the curious, gay, and most other types of travelers you might be able to think of.

Many people are also a mix of the aforementioned list. The resort is a mix of interests and of people from a wide variety of countries. If you are a swinger, this is certainly a resort at which you can have a lot of fun, so let us look further at the possibilities below.

Accommodation for swingers

There is no exact place or accommodation type that swingers to the naturist resort book, but there are some generalizations that I think are fair to make (and I am sure you will correct me on the comments at the bottom of this post if you disagree).

Hotels

Before the hotels Natureva Spa, Le Riad, Le Jardin du Babylon, and the Oz Inn Hotel were built in the last six years or so, Hotel Eve reigned supreme.

Hotel Eve traditionally was the one hotel where swingers would stay, mainly because it was the only hotel!

Now, though Hotel Eve has a lot of competition, and both these two following hotels are very popular:

• Natureva Spa Hotel Residence
• and the Oz Inn Hotel

And Riads ApartHotel is chosen by some with swingers staying in the resort, who are looking for a hotel.

Even though Natureva Spa does not openly market itself as this type of hotel, many couples do stay here, and it is quite an active couples hotel.

The Oz Inn Hotel and Jardin Eden are set up to more openly accommodate couples who are looking for fun. Some of these hotels, such as the Oz’Inn, have open-air play areas on the roof.

Apartments

Many swingers also rent an apartment in one of the main buildings, such as in the Port Nature building or in the Heliopolis blocks.

Staying in one of these buildings leaves you close to the clubs and bars and tends thus to be popular.

You are close to the action, and it is not far to walk back to your apartment if you match up with another couple.

Campsite

The campsite is less suitable because the rules and etiquette are more suitable for family stays on the campsite.

There are quite strict rules, for example, regarding noise in the campsite after midnight, and the staff are known to enforce the rules.

It is not unknown to get a knock on your caravan door if you are making too much noise, for whatever reason, late at night.

If you are swingers, you certainly can still stay in the camping area, but you may find one of the hotels more suitable, where there are also custom-made couples areas with a pool.

The Beach

As mentioned in the last post about adult fun in Cap, in the daytime, there are a couple of options for those of you who are looking to network to meet other couples for some fun in the evenings, or to head to the bubbles parties with.

The swingers part of the beach is close to where you will see the dunes, i.e., two-thirds the way up the beach.

It is extremely easy to find or to know when you have hit this part of the beach because you will see a larger mass than normal of bodies on the beach and standing around on the waterfront and there is also usually an ice-cream vendor standing in this area (always doing good trade).

The nightclubs

Many of the clubs which are based inside the naturist resort have play areas in a back area down the stairs.

One of the best and also most popular is Le Glamour.

Most of the action takes place inside after midnight when they open up the downstairs area, aka the play-rooms.

The entry policy can be quite strict, so make sure you turn up as required.

Foam Party

The mousse parties are without question the highlight for many visitors, and this takes place in the Le Glamour grounds on the outside, in the daytime, and in the afternoons in the main summer months (if the weather is suitable).

This experience has to be seen and experienced.

Outside the Resort

Club L’Extasia

Without question, the best club in the local region, which is dedicated to swingers, is ‘Club L’Extasia‘.

Many people who stay in Cap d’Agde sometimes do so in order to combine staying in the resort with a chance to go to Club L’Extasia.

It is roughly a 25-minute drive from the naturist resort, but sometimes there are groups going, and you can go together quite cheaply.
